So it just occured to me...

Here I sit, these past few weeks, watching stocks fall, prices go up etc. I think to myself, thank god I don't deal in stocks or anything like that. What I DIDN'T think about was the value of money going down because of all this!!

My child support for Ethan is paid in British Pounds and converted into US Dollars when it is received in Idaho. I USE to get roughly $350. He is court ordered to pay £175 (175 British pounds). Well with the exchange rate right now I get $302 scratch Which stinks!

Just had to share, this is how I am getting stiffed by the economic crisis! Other than cost of food, etc has all skyrocketed!

Yeah, Christian does freelance graphic design for a Norwegian company. He tried to transfer his money from his Norwegian account to ours and we totally lost quite a bit. It's horrible...

That does suck, especially when you need it for so many reasons. I know when any moneys coming in are late or not as much as you thought they were going to be, it really hits hard!

We have stock in Textron, which is the parent company of Greg's work. They went from 70 plus a share to 15 in like a month. I'm just really glad we are many many years away from retirment!!! Yikes!
